I've been to two away cup games, the Arse and Wigan and in both games, we didn't register one fucking shot on target

Thanks Blair

Re: ⚽ Wigan v West Ham - Official Match Thread
I didnt go as after the arsenal surrender I realised where we were heading...did actually catch it on radio, then watched it this morning

what did we learn? for me..absolutely nothing

Ambition of the club/manager to progress ( none- we know that)
Thinness/imbalance of squad ( exposed again)
Weakness/limits of Hart ( exposed again)
Ogbonna/Kouyate in the middle is a waste of two shirts( we'
ve known that all season)
half of the team who played dont want to be here( probably not seen it as clearly before)
We are glacier-slow with the ball and geriactically slow without it- probably not even league one level ( a rude awakening over three games)
take arnie/lanzini/noble/collins out of this side and we would struggle in the championship ( painful but true)
our young'uns aint that good (im not sure this is much different to to forest disaster- thrown into a mishmash of a team and expected to "play")
Moyes fitness to take us forward ( personal view, he's not the right man- way way too defensive )
Loyalty of the fans and desperate desire for some kind of success/progress( underlined, again)
massive discontent with the way the three cowns are running our club and heritage into the ground ( underlined again but what we gonna do about it!?)

Out in the 3rd round the year before we last won it.

Out in the 3rd round the year after we last won it.

We've had mixed results.

Why excuse today’s shit by saying ooh well the same thing happened 30 years ago? Yeh exactly and with that attitude it will be at least another 30 years before anything good happens.

I always laugh when people say get out of “ my “ club.

It’s not your club, it can be for £150m.

Re: ⚽ Wigan v West Ham - Official Match Thread

Could you imagine the abuse Lyall & the Board would be getting If the internet was around during 1987-89?

No he was getting it on the terraces.... and in the boozers... not our finest moment as fans

Sold - agree completely mate. Remember being part of a Lyall Out protest as an arrogant, no nothing 17 year old outside the old West Stand in 89, after being beaten by Wednesday, I think. Will always be embarrassed and ashamed of my and our collective behaviour.

Re: ⚽ Wigan v West Ham - Official Match Thread
In my 30 years of away games, easily up there with the worst, though it was pretty much a guaranteed loss when the team was announced.

All well and good saying we've lost to shit teams in the past, but in the past I expect the players at least put an effort in.

Absolute disgrace today, but not worth moaning as the two Dave's aren't going anywhere and so nothing will change.

Just feel sorry for people who go to home games and will be stuck with that ginger jock cunt past this season.
